According to DK, HCMS has a very different opinion on Pouliot:

It couldn’t be more obvious that Mike Sullivan’s got no use for Derrick Pouliot. It couldn’t be more obvious why that’s the case. And it couldn’t be more obvious that Jim Rutherford and the Penguins would welcome trading him. They just don’t want to do so at lowest possible value, which is a quandary in that they also wouldn’t place him above any of their current top six.

Going to be interesting to see how it all plays out, Pouliot better light it up during camp or his time in Pittsburgh will be coming to an end.

And that surprises you why? The event is run by Canadians, they're going to do everything in their power to make sure Canada comes out smelling like a rose. The shame is that Canada is the best team in the tournament, they shouldn't need any help winning it all.

I mean not really since canada will most likely win the tournament. but if I got to choose between watching canada vs europe, chech and usa or canada vs russia, sweden, north america/Finland I would easily choose the later. I want to see good games. canada won't meet even 1 good team in the group stages... except the usual canada vs usa "rivalry" that is just gonna be a blood bath for the usa.

They're definitely going to be intriguing. The hockey world has gone nuts over age to the point that they think simply being young is all that matters so this is going to be a good indicator of just how much youth impacts the outcome of games. By what I've read on most of these blog sites, Team NA should run away with this tournament because they are the youngest team in the tournament.

So I obviously haven't read or seen much in regards to the WC set up but what is the difference between Canada, USA and NA teams? How they decide which team they were going to?
